Payroll Giving/Give as You EarnCould you give £2 per week to charity? If you are considering giving to charity, why not do it via Payroll Giving or Give as You Earn? All we ask is that you please consider BAB. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give will only actually cost you 78p, and if you're a higher rate taxpayer it will only cost you 60p. Did you know that in America it is estimated that 35% of people give to charities via their salary, yet only 3.8% of Buckinghamshire households belong to a scheme and the national average is only 4%?Many companies have Payroll giving schemes already in place. If your employer does not or you would like more information, please contact BAB. Setting it up is easy and by showing your support, you may be able to persuade others to make a contribution. You sign a form and your employer deducts your donation from your wages. It is clearly marked on your pay statement and remember: For every 78p you give the government give us 22p on top, so “Thank you”! | ||
