Volunteering for BABMany of the services BAB provides are only made possible by our dedicated team of over 600 volunteers who provide invaluable support to our members. They are extremely valuable and help us to offer a complete service to our Blind and Partially Sighted members throughout the County of Buckinghamshire. We are always looking to increase our number of volunteers, so please do take a moment to read on, and see what the different roles are, and maybe you will feel that you could also become one of our fantastic team! Here are a few of the roles that our volunteers carry out for us: -
These are just a selection of the roles our Volunteers are involved in. If you would like to know more, then please contact us and we can discuss what events and roles you might feel would suit you. Volunteering can take as much or as little time as you can give, so if you could only help for 3 hours, one day or a fortnight, we can find you a role that we are sure you would enjoy. We need volunteers in all areas of Buckinghamshire including Milton Keynes. If you would like to hear more about our volunteering programme, please e-mail our Volunteer Liaison Co-ordinator Jan Eedle-Wells or telephone the BAB Resource Centre, in Aylesbury, on 01296 487 556. | ||
